A NOTE FROM TOMATO:
Hi all in the THOR Community!

 
Besides having inspiring weekly musical/creative experiences at THOR in our group programs, 2014-15 has brought us incredible shows at The Rockwood Music Hall (2 stages running simultaneously “festival-style” electric/unplugged), The Bell House, BB Kings, Tobacco Road, and Webster Hall Studio! In addition to this, we aired a second season of our web series “Louder Education”, had a Master Class with guitar virtuoso Dave Davidson… plus Summer Songwriting/recording programs, with 4 different sessions at Room 17 and Spin Studios, where the students experienced songwriting, arranging, pre-production, recording and mixing all in real time and with the pros. And on top of this, we also put on the second year of our Ready Set Rock beginner Rock Camp in Brooklyn, adding music video, t-shirt silk screening, and rock lighting components. Then capping the Summer off with our second year of putting THOR members on America’s Got Talent, as backup musicians, at Radio City Music Hall on live TV in front of millions!

 

Since THOR has been run since day one as an ongoing creative journey in itself, the one thing you can know for sure is that this coming year will only bring more new awesome experiences for the THOR community of young talented individuals! We look so forward to having as much fun and learning at THOR with you – so read below and make sure rocking is in your schedule this year!
