ALT/INDY THOR MASTER CLASS WITH STEVE GARVEY OF THE BUZZCOCKS

The Alt/Indy program will be working with original Art-Punk legend Steve Garvey, bassist of The Buzzcocks on Sat May 7th at THOR. The Buzzcocks, who were there from the beginning with The Clash and The Sex Pistols, are a huge influence on the indie rock, pop punk, and post-punk movements. The Buzzcocks, with Steve’s style of bass playing, is what bands from The Descendants to Green Day took their sound and attitude from – they were the originators. Steve’s first-hand musical history lesson will be a huge privilege for all of us.
